INAX Museum, Tokoname

A downdraft Kiln turned into a place to relax, though when i sat in there i kept thinking this was made to go up to 1250 degrees, hope no one shuts the door...

The tile  Museum

5500 years ago people in Uruk used these claypegs for decorating, such a simple idea with amazing results.

Tiled Islamic dome based on geometric patterns, the hole in the top allowed the sun to pass through and can be used like a sun dial.

(might need to get google to translate some pages)
